The Emergency 2.0 Wiki Working Group was established to turn the vision into a reality:
- To create a strategy and framework for the project
- To create a draft Emergency 2.0 Wiki framework (ready for input)
- To ‘soft launch’ the Wiki (for global collaborative input from the emergency, government, community and business sectors)
- To establish Wiki Reference Groups (with global input)
- To globally launch the Emergency 2.0 Wiki.
The Wiki Working Group was made up of Gov2qld group members volunteering their professional skills and time. The Group came from government, community, education, business, ICT and media sectors:

The ongoing development of the Wiki is a global collaborative approach, steered by Reference Groups consisting of members from all over over the world.
